Apple Music Ties Up With Clark Atlanta University For Rap Life Live Atlanta
Apple Music’s takeover of Apple Music continues with Clark Atlanta University occupying final episode of Rap Life.
Apple Music Rap Life Live in AtlantaCreated Friday. Like the inauguration of Howard University Rap life, this episode uses the Clark Atlanta campus as the stage for leading numbers to perform some of their biggest hits. Moneybagg Yo, Saweetie and Lil Durk make appearances as accomplished members of the student body were interviewed alongside community figures like Atlanta Mayor Keisha Lance Bottoms, LaTosha Brown, who is the co-founder of Black Voters Matter Fund, and university president George T.. French, Jr.
Rap Life Live in Atlanta focuses on continuing the discussion of issues that impact the black community by infusing music with valuable dialogue.
“Rap Life Live in Atlanta is the crossroads of the most popular rap artists and the student body of Clark Atlanta University. A celebration of what’s popular right now… music and academics, ”said Ebro Darden, global head of hip-hop and R&B at Apple Music. “Our young people not only support and celebrate street music, but also support each other through academic achievements. For artists like Lil Durk, who is shaped by street culture, he thinks it’s important to show people another path to success and self-esteem.
“You can take a camera, you can take a microphone, you can design. There are all kinds of ways you can do what you can do, ”said Durk. “There were times when I wanted to give up or be like I wanted to do something else but the fans just kept me the fans were keeping me 10 toes and being able to be who I am today.
