Born and raised in Varanasi, India, one of the oldest cities in the world, Vinamrata Chaturvedi has been a journalist for years and currently covers cryptocurrency and blockchain. She believes financial literacy is essential for personal growth, and her educational journey to cover the crypto market began in 2016 when the Central Bank of India demonetized the 500 and 1,000 rupee notes. The incident led her to believe that financial power should be in the hands of the people and not a centralized authority.
